Hi, how are you? I figured I should tell you a little about myself so we can get to know each other a little. My name is Chris Kelly. I have lived in Port Huron, Michigan for my entire life, all 35 years of it. I have been very happily married to by beautiful wife Kathleen for 15 years now and looking forward to many more. We have two children, Alexandra and Julia. They are my pride and joys, and I try to get involved with anything they have to do. That is how I started taking pictures. Both of my daughters perform competitive dance for MainStreet Dance Connection in Port Huron, and so the story begins. Four years ago now at the first competition I started taking some pictures and shared them with all the parents, they Loved It! I moved on to a newer camera and took even more pictures. Last year I realized that I have an addiction, when I started averaging 1000 photos per competition my wife stated that I needed some help, but.... at least I was having fun!   

    Then, two years ago, the dance studio asked if I would be willing to take the annual pictures of all the dancers and groups. Of course I said yes and started to think about how I was going to set up. Mind you, I had nothing that a professional photographer had so I was thinking of some pretty bad shortcuts, then I realized how upset I would be as a dance parent seeing that. So, much to my wife's regret I announced that I needed to buy some stuff. Then more stuff and so on and so on... Now I have a wonderful portable studio with professional strobes, backdrops and camera.
